BRILLBIRD FUTURE GEL
Future Gel is a product with a dual composition, that is, it has acrylic manoeuvrability and the properties of a gel. Because of this, our work time is considerably shorter and at the same time, easier. The advantages of this product are that it does not smell, it can be applied in one thick layer because it does not flow and does not burn in the lamp. It is ideal for both short nails and longer extensions.
To use this product correctly, we offer some useful tips to help you simplify and develop your techniques.
By pressing the tube, you can pull the material into a perfect bead shape, which you can apply with precision to the surface of the nail with a gel spatula.
The material is applied over Brillbird Nail Prep, Brillbird Primer 1 and/or Brillbird Primer 2. It is an extremely adherent product and the use of the Hypnotic Bond Gel is not mandatory but recommended for beginners and a must when working over tips. You should use it for maintenance of nails and for difficult or problematic nail customers.
After applying the product, it is easily moulded with a strong acrylic brush, dampened with Cleaner. We recommend AcryLux or Acrylic 6 if you like to work with a larger brush OR the Smile Line Brush or 3D Art brushes for shorter and firmer brushes. For sealing use any of your Brillbird flexible Top gels.

- HOW DO YOU PREPARE THE NAIL CORRECTLY?
The use of Bond gel is recommended for a long-lasting and guaranteed results with Future Gel. It is particularly useful when dealing with problematic nails.
Start the usual preparation methods with Nail Prep, Primer 1 and/ or then Primer 2
Hypnotic Bond is the ideal Brillbird bond gel for Future Gel. Being thicker in consistency, it will guarantee a perfect application as it resists slipping into the nail grooves if it is applied in a thicker layer. It’s more stable and highly recommended.
When working over tips…. Hypnotic bond is a MUST!!
- WHAT AMOUNT OF CLEANER IS REQUIRED? HOW DO YOU USE IT?
We must take into account the amount of Cleaner we use, because if this solution is abundant, the risk of peeling from the nail is much higher and the consistency of the gel will be too soft to be moulded at will. Too much Cleaner can also lead to premature breakdown of service. Too much Cleaner changes the composition of the gel, making it more fluid, which will also cause it to run into the surrounding skin.
If too much of the Cleaner is used, it will be difficult to do all nails at once because the Cleaner will dilute the Future Gel. It is recommended to wet the brush, DO NOT soak the brush completely.
- HOW DO YOU FORM THE ‘C’ curve?
Once you are ready to cure, cure the Future Gel for 15 seconds to form the ‘C’ curve and add it back to the lamp to completely cure it.
- WHAT ARE THE IDEAL BRUSHES FOR SHAPING Future gel?
The two most practical brushes for use with Future Gel are the 3D Art Brush and the Smile Line Brush!
We need to keep in mind that this gel has acrylic-like handling, which is why we need a firm brush for the modelling technique of this product.
- HOW DO YOU file AND FINISH THE NAIL?
Another aspect to keep in mind about Future Gel is how to finish it. To avoid an uneven appearance and as it is a soft material, it does not require filing with a strong grit file. The Brillbird 180/180 grit file is recommended for best results and to avoid scratching. Then of course, finish with a flexible Brillbird top gel. Extra Top, Extra Matt top, Man Gel Top, Mani Gel&Lac top, Hypnotic Top, Brush&go Gel&Lac top.
- WHICH LAMP IS IDEAL FOR DRYING THIS PRODUCT?
This product is cured in both LED lamps and UV lamps, but for a quicker drying, the combined lamp is recommended as it will cure quicker than traditional UV or LED lamps.
It is very important to observe the correct curing time of the gel, as with any light cured product.

LED 1-2 mins
Combination lamp 1 minute
